Small Town Coroner
Arnie is still experimenting with the new recipies but not bad overall. I finished up the blood draining fish caper. It was more work than normal for me. But at least it's done. It's been raining alot as fall is decending upon us. I took midnight to the beach. The wind was pretty harsh but we've been cooped up with all the bad weather.
I stopped at the Pastor's yesterday. For a man with what most people call "not a real job" he sure is busy. He was consueling a couple on marriage and his wife was busy on the phone so we had to wait a while. Midnight got the chance to sniff around and check the place out for the first time. We ate crab with some cocktail sauce and for desert mmmmmmm my favorite apple pie. We talked about some out reaches that the church was planning and about what play to put on for Christmas. It's nice to visit and get some feedback from someone who hasn't known me my whole life too. He's a good man and he's honest, not that I would expect anything different from a Pastor. He told me once that before he became a Pastor he had dreams of being a baseball player. He even went to the minor leagues before he got hurt and never got back on track. I never would imagine it seeing him not that is, but we all don't look like we used to if you get my drift.
The rains pounding outside and the sun has gone down. It's time to call it a night. Until next time.
