Small Town Coroner
Finally down to two houses. Almost there. We've got another chance to walk through them tonight. I'm praying we get this taken care of as soon as possible.
The wedding is just a week away and I've seen more of Sarah's mother than Sarah herself. It's like her mom is on a mission everytime I see her to ask me all these questions from Sarah. It's funny some times because I think they are going to just collapse any second at the rate they are going. But underneath it all I know they are both very excited and happy.
Sarah's Dad has become my responsiblity. That man is a handful. He just loves to mess with me. When he walked through the front door he sniffed the air and looked around then said, "Where's all the bodies?"
I looked at him and said, "At work I don't bring them here." He just looked back and then Midnight rushed up to greet him. "Well look at you. Are you excited to see me?"
Midnight's tail was wagging so hard that his whole body was shaking back and forth like a snake slithering through the grass. Then they took a walk and I haven't got my dog back yet. Midnight's sleeping in the guest room with him. I've been taking them both to Arnie's for dinner and showing them the houses. I think they've got it figured out but I'm still working on it.
One night I took them both to the beach and they stayed out all night fishing. I hope I have that type of energy when I get to be that age. The old man is really enjoying himself here. It's not everyday that there's a wedding in the family and for them I think it's like a working vacation if that makes any sense.
God this is such a stressful but very exciting time. I'm getting married.....
